Neymar to Inter Miami? Club owner reveals chances of signing Brazilian star

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Herons.

Jorge Mas, the managing owner of Inter Miami, has outlined the conditions that must be met for Neymar Jr to rejoin Lionel Messi and bring MSN to the MLS.

Between 2014 and 2017, three legendary South American forwards had outstanding careers together at Barcelona. Luis Suarez was the third string in their attacking bow, and the three of them scored 364 goals and provided 171 assists while winning LaLiga and the Champions League at Camp Nou.

It has been proposed that the United States team may reassemble one of the most formidable strike forces in contemporary history. Due to injury issues at Al-Hilal, a Saudi Pro League team, Neymar is rumoured to be moving to Florida.

When asked if Neymar could join Messi and Suarez, Mas told GIVEMESPORT,  “The key word is if he were to become available. He is an Al-Hilal player now. He’s not available to us. I have always said we aspire to bring great players to our team. We have a lot of roster limitations and restrictions, but we have an unlimited budget.

“We are aspirational. If there is ever a chance to bring the calibre of a player like Neymar, we will not hesitate. It doesn’t depend only on me. It depends on the player and the league. But yes, we aspire to build a great roster here.”

Neymar’s current contract with Al Hilal

Neymar’s Al-Hilal contract is only scheduled to expire in the summer of 2025, and club executive Esteve Calzada has not said much about potential extension negotiations. “The coach [Jorge Jesus] needs to decide when he’s back fit,” he stated. The season is now halfway through. We’re doing great. With the team we now have, we are really confident.

Since moving from Paris Saint-Germain, Neymar has only made seven competitive appearances for Al-Hilal, scoring one goal. Despite this, he has never concealed the fact that, given the chance, he would like to collaborate with Argentine greatness Messi once more.
