Nigeria vs Rwanda Prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds
The Super Eagles have already secured their place for AFCON 2025.
Table toppers Nigeria are set to welcome Rwanda in the final game of group D of the AFCON qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Monday, aiming to finish unbeaten in the group. The last time these two sides met each other, the game ended in a draw.
The Super Eagles have performed excellently in their qualifying campaign as they currently top the group D being the only side to remain unbeaten in the group. After being drawn to Benin, Libya, and Rwanda everyone fancied them to secure qualifications easily given the quality they have in their squad. They have done just that having secured their place in the AFCON 2025 final tournament. Now their focus will be on preparing for the tournament.
Meanwhile, Rwanda endured a mixed start to their qualification campaign as they currently occupy the third spot in Group D. With the hosts already having secured qualification, it is between Benin and them for the final spot with the former favourite with a three-point advantage over them. If Benin loses their final game and Rwanda manages to win with a dominant margin here, then only they can secure their spot which looks unlikely for now.

While his country are blessed with some of the top strikers, it is Osimhen who for now remains the first choice after delivering some top-notch performances for them over the years.

Djihad Bizimana delivered a magical performance in the previous game against Libya. He created five chances for his team while also attempting a shot. Having made his debut in 2015, Bizimana has developed into a crucial player making 26 appearances for them till now. While he covers a lot of ground it is the creative side that has stood out the most.
