Solbakken’s side will play in their first-ever World Cup since 1998.
Manager Ståle Solbakken has picked his 26 players who will be looking to guide Norway to the World Cup 2026 next month.
Norway are one of the more formidable teams in the field, going into their fourth FIFA World Cup, a brave underdog looking to pull off an upset.
Norway are a very powerful team that, although perhaps not strong enough to contend for the title, can undoubtedly go far in the competition after winning their UEFA qualification group. They are one of only two European teams to finish with a perfect record alongside England.
Erling Haaland is one of the world’s most potent goal-scoring threats in contemporary football. His presence will intimidate any opponent. He is backed by a group of individuals who, taken as a whole, have outperformed.
Norway were one of the surprising teams to go undefeated during the qualifiers, sending a message that they will be motivated to put on a top performance in the competition next month.
The team boasts an impressive group of players who are set to play in their first-ever World Cup. They are looking forward to causing many surprises as the Red, White and Blue looks to leave a mark.
Even though there are not many expectations, Solbakken’s side can be seen as one of the dark horses capable of defeating a powerful side. We have already seen their win over Italy during the qualifiers.
Their star striker, Erling Haaland, will be determined to lead the attacking line in the competition and score plenty of goals as Norway get ready for their first-ever World Cup since 1998.
