The competition is all set to begin on June 11.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is now around the corner. With that said, some nations have already confirmed their squads ahead of the tournament. A total of 48 teams will display top performances to headline the stadiums in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The mega competition is going to have 104 fixtures beginning from June 11. The final is all set to take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA, on July 19. There is a long path for every team. Neither of them will be looking to miss any of those chances.
Lionel Messi’s Argentina will be coming in to defend their crown. They have already announced the preliminary squad, like some other nations. It consists of experienced stars, as well as the young guns.
France, Spain and England are currently the favourites to win the FIFA World Cup 2026. They have a stacked roster and are not going to be easy sides to take on.
Les Bleus have won the competition twice (1998 and 2018). The Three Lions and La Roja have done it once in 1996 and 2010, respectively.

Recently, Fox Sports came up with a promo video for the upcoming edition of the mega competition. It has confirmed the design for the official scoreboard for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Some of the snapshots of the exact design were previously leaked.
Nervakez Motion, a French design studio have created the scoreboard for the biggest stage of football. Around six weeks ago, the designer shared two videos of the World Cup TV broadcast presentation. This allowed the fans to have a glimpse of the key visual elements.
The design of the scoreboard is eye-catching. It features bold drop-shadow effects, the official FIFA 26 emblem, kit colour markers and a clean flat-style interface. All designed to match the visual identity of the ‘We Are 26’ campaign.
FIFA is looking fully committed to the vibrant multi-coloured scheme for the World Cup 2026 scoreboard.
