Paul Pogba's AS Monaco debut delayed with fresh injury

Paul Pogba’s comeback has been anticipated for a long time, and guess what, it will remain so. Since September 3, 2023, the now AS Monaco midfielder has not appeared on a football field.
After being suspended for doping, he joined the Monaco team upon his return; however, he has yet to make his debut. The wait will have to go on after the midfielder suffered a physical setback.
AS Monaco have declared that Paul Pogba will be sidelined for a few days due to a strained muscle. The player hopes to play against Toulouse on October 25.
Paul Pogba suffers an injury blow

After the October international break, the 32-year-old French international will not play for Monaco against Angers SCO. He sustained what is being called a “minor muscle strain” during training this week.
Paul Pogba was close to making his debut against OGC Nice last weekend, but it couldn’t happen as Adi Hütter stated he wasn’t fully fit to play a game, and neither did he want to take a risk.
The idea of witnessing the 2018 World Cup champion return to action had fans almost drooling, but the club’s medical experts determined it was “a bit too soon.”
It will be one of the most-awaited returns in recent football history when, if, Paul Pogba makes his Monaco debut. The midfielder will be desperate to return to the field after going through a lot of hardship following a doping ban.
Monaco supporters will have to wait for the time being, as their top signing of the summer continues to put in effort to get back to fitness for his much-awaited return to football after two years.
