Paul Pogba's next club odds as midfielder can now return to playing football

The Frenchman’s doping ban will end today.
Since his doping penalty expires today, Paul Pogba is free to resume playing football again. He has been linked to numerous teams.
Following a successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the 31-year-old’s initial four-year punishment for doping was lowered to 18 months. He started training again in January as a result. As of right now, he is cleared to play once more.
The Frenchman last appeared on a football field in a competitive match on September 3, 2023, against Empoli as a substitute for Juventus.
Having not appeared in on-field action for 18 months and turning 32 later this month, he certainly will be eager to get back to the game as soon as possible. Afterall he was regarded as one of the world’s top midfielders.
However, his contract with Juventus was mutually terminated in November 2024, he is now free to sign with any club.
Inter Miami are among the clubs that have been linked with the midfielder. The player recently visited their stadium as a spectator, further raising potential transfer speculations.
Nonetheless, he is also considering European teams, with Manchester United, Marseille, and Fenerbahce being the front-runners to be his next club.
Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad are in contention for a transfer. Corinthians and Santos of Brazil have also been mentioned as potential destinations.
However, given that Paul Pogba was photographed with Beckham in Florida last month, Inter Miami are still the most likely destination.
He could obviously be joining the all-star cast of Javier Mascherano’s team in Miami, which includes Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets, Luis Suarez, and Jordi Alba, in addition to Beckham as co-owner.
For the third time in Paul Pogba’s career, Manchester United have been linked to him. Nevertheless, his countryman and former Red Devils defender Mikael Silvestre has cautioned the team against making a deal.
