Pep Guardiola backs Jeremy Doku to reach Lamine Yamal & Vinicius Jr's level

The forward has five goals and five assists in the league this season.
Pep Guardiola has backed Jeremy Doku to reach the same level as Lamine Yamal and Vinicius Junior as one of the best wingers in the world of football.
With three goals in the last two matches as the Premier League title battle draws to a close, the Belgian attacker has struck a golden patch for Manchester City at the ideal moment.
The manager of Man City is certain that Jeremy Doku has the raw ability to be compared to the best wide players in the world.
Pep Guardiola is sure Jeremy Doku can reach Yamal & Vinicius level

After the Belgian’s most recent heroics in a 3-0 triumph over Brentford, the Catalan coach was questioned if his winger could compete with Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal or Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior.
“Yeah, for sure,” said Guardiola.
“And always accept being pushed. Always accept that. And that is so nice. We are really pleased. Now he is winning games. But he has always been really, really good.”
Although Doku’s physical qualities have always been undeniable, Guardiola thinks the last stage to being a worldwide sensation is primarily mentality. If a player wants to be regarded as “the best of the best” instead of just a gifted dribbler, the City manager maintains that they must possess the inner motivation to step outside of their comfort zone.
Jeremy Doku has been cautious about his recent output rise, which included a brilliant opening goal at the Etihad against Brentford. The 23-year-old is having the best run of his career since relocating to England, having previously scored goals against Everton and Southampton. He insists that his basic style hasn’t changed, though.
