Guardiola’s current deal will expire in 2027.
Pep Guardiola’s recent comments on his future at Manchester City will be music to the fans’ ears after the Spanish manager admitted that he might sign another contract extension at the club.
The former FC Barcelona manager last year signed a new two-year contract extension, which is valid until 2027. The fans will be more than content if one of the best managers commits to another two-year deal at the club.
Guardiola, who joined Manchester City in 2016, will complete a decade next year. So far in his stint at the club, he has won six Premier League titles and led the club to their maiden UEFA Champions League trophy in the 2022-23 season.

But what will be more fascinating for the club and the fans is if the former Bayern Munich head coach decides to renew his contract with them. In recent comments, he hasn’t ruled out penning a new deal at the club. He told Men in Blazers:
“I have two more years, maybe I’ll extend two more years. So the question is when I will stop in this year or in two years, or in four years, I will take a break. But now I feel fine, I would say.
“The team is giving me good vibes, starting from the [Club] World Cup in the United States. There we created something. I saw something that I liked, that I missed last season.”
Pep Guardiola’s time at City has been nothing but a massive success. His appointment at the club was seen as a major step in the club’s rebuilding phase and their path to dominance in Europe.
He brilliantly managed to transform the Cityzens into one of the best teams in Europe. The coach led the team to successive league titles and their first-ever Champions League trophy.
However, the fans will now only hope that the club does everything in their power to keep one of the top managers at the helm for more years.
