After spending three days with his wife, Cristina Serra, in Barcelona over Easter, Pep Guardiola and his better half are apparently attempting to patch things up.

Pep Guardiola married fashion entrepreneur Serra in 2014 after they first met in 1994.

In January, the world learned about their unexpected breakup. The following month, there were rumours that the couple had started the divorce process.

Guardiola and Serra are apparently willing to “give each other another chance” and declare that “all is not lost in their marriage,” according to the Catalan newspaper El Nacional.

According to the source, the Man City manager spent Easter in Barcelona, where he stayed at the family’s estate.

According to earlier rumours, one of the main reasons for the breakup was Pep Guardiola’s surprising decision to extend his contract with the Premier League team for an additional two years in November.

After learning of Guardiola’s intention to remain in the UK until 2027, Serra reportedly opted to end their relationship. She returned to Barcelona with their youngest child to concentrate on her business endeavours.

According to the most recent source, Pep Guardiola has promised to travel to Barcelona once a week because of his position as head coach of Man City before departing again.

According to the reports, Guardiola and Serra are still wearing their wedding bands, which is a clear sign that they are trying to get back together.

In 2014, Guardiola and Serra tied the knot in a small ceremony outside of Barcelona, but they made the decision to split up in December.

After Serra returned to Barcelona with one of their three kids, 17-year-old Valentina, Guardiola stayed in Manchester. The couple, who first met in 1994, had been living apart for over five years.

Together, they have two other children: Marius, 22, and Maria, 24.

Despite not residing in the same city, Guardiola and Serra remained together as a couple. They have been frequently photographed together in the years that have followed.
