The Spanish manager has led City to six Premier League titles.

Manchester City will be Pep Guardiola’s last club position as manager, he has revealed. Guardiola has led City to six Premier League crowns and countless other trophies in his eight-and-a-half dazzling years as manager at the Etihad.

With City having only won one of their past eight games in all competitions, the Spaniard is currently going through the most difficult time of his career.

Just last month, Guardiola signed a new contract that will keep him with the four-time consecutive Premier League champions until 2027.

Additionally, Pep Guardiola gave a significant update on his future in an exclusive conversation with Spanish chef Dani Garcia, revealing that after leaving City, he will not be leading any other teams.

‘I’m not going to manage another team,’ he said. ‘I’m not talking about the long-term future but what I’m not going to do is leave Man City, go to another country, and do the same thing as now.

‘I wouldn’t have the energy… The thought of starting somewhere else, all the process of training and so on… No, no, no! Maybe a national team, but that’s different.’

Crystal Palace tied City to a 2-2 draw on Saturday, costing them more points in the title battle. As a result, City’s hold on the Premier League is getting weaker every week.

The 53-year-old also acknowledged that he finds it difficult to cope when his team is having trouble producing favourable outcomes.

In other news, Rodri’s absence has affected City’s performance this season. The Ballon d’Or winner is out for the season due to a major knee injury.

Although there have been other injuries to other players on Guardiola’s team, the Spaniard acknowledged that Rodri’s absence is the most devastating of them all.

Guardiola is the first coach to accomplish four straight top-flight titles in England and has been credited with revolutionizing English football.

Over his 495 games as Manchester City’s manager, he has won 354 of them at an incredible 71.52 per cent, taking home 18 trophies. Following 15 games, City are at present eight points below leaders Liverpool in fourth place in the Premier League.
