Manchester City held to a 1-1 draw with Manchester City

On Tuesday night, during his team’s journey to Real Madrid, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was spotted showing off one of the rarest watches in the world, which is estimated to be worth over £1.1 million.

The Spaniard, who is renowned for his chic ensembles and keen sense of style, was frequently spotted on the touchline wearing designer labels and polo necks.Guardiola also upped the ante by choosing to don one of the most expensive watches cash can buy after landing in Madrid, one of the world’s major centres of fashion.

High-end watchmaker Richard Mille made the watch that Guardiola wore at the Bernabeu for the Champions League match, especially for tennis player Rafael Nadal.Calibre RM27-01, as it is officially known, is an individually winding tourbillon movement with a design that is open and reveals the internal gears and hands.

In addition, the watch has yellow dots and lines that mimic the hours and minutes, with red tips on the hands that show the time.

With a weight of 18.83 grammes, which includes the strap, the 27-01 edition has shattered the record for the smallest clockwork watch ever made. It is made of grade-five titanium, aluminium, and lithium.

Guardiola and Rafael Nadal are two of the fortunate receivers of one of the 50 extremely uncommon editions, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that the watch would cost more than £1 million. The watch’s lightweight construction is maintained while the hands are protected thanks to four braided steel strain wires that are fastened to the baseplate. According to Richard Mille, creating these cables is a “very delicate operation.”

Because of how comfortable it is to wear, Richard Mille refers to the watch’s creation as “a triumph of engineering and technology” and “one of the most innovative architectural constructions of recent years.” Nadal’s results at major tournaments have benefited greatly from the watch.

Guardiola travelled to the Spanish capital for the thrilling first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals between Real Madrid and City, which ended in a 3-3 draw.Within two minutes, Bernardo Silva’s free-kick gave him the lead. Ruben Dias’ own goal tied the score after that, Rodrygo completely changed the course of the match, and Phil Foden’s incredible effort from outside the box ended up in the top corner.Following that, Josko Gvardiol scored a stunning goal of his own to give City a 3-2 lead. Federico Valverde then made sure the points were shared ahead of the second leg with an amazing volley.
