Jan Urban’s side will have a chance to qualify for the competition when they face Albania.
Poland have announced their squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Albania in March, as the Polish team gets ready for one of the crucial fixtures that will decide their fate in participating in the World Cup.
After failing to directly book their berth in the tournament, Poland will have to do it the hard way as they face another tough side in the hope of playing in the competition in South America.
Head coach Jan Urban has prioritised calling experienced stars whom he can count on when they play Albania. As usual, veteran striker Rober Lewandowksi will lead the attacking line.
Despite a dry spell at the club so far, Urban continues to count on the Barcelonan frontman, whose experience is crucial in front of the goal. Meanwhile, Aston Villa full-back Matty Cash has been included in the team.
Moreover, Poland will have an advantage as they host Albania at home ground and will be hoping their home fans to turn out as they will look to overcome their opponent in the qualifiers.
