Haaland wins Player of the Month for September.
It has been announced that Erling Haaland of Manchester City has won the Premier League Player of the Month award for September.
Haaland’s most recent honour solidifies his standing as one of the most significant players in English football.
The Manchester City striker managed to withstand fierce competition from several in-form Premier League players, including Crystal Palace’s Daichi Kamada, Brighton’s Yankuba Minteh, Sunderland’s Robin Roefs and Granit Xhaka, and Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi. It is all thanks to his five league goals and one assist last month.
The Norwegian has been in spectacular form this season and is already leading the league table in top goal scorer with nine goals. The City striker will look to continue with such performances and lead the club to silverware this season.
Oliver Glasner wins Manager of the Month for September
Oliver Glasner led Crystal Palace to an incredible September, earning him the PL’s Manager of the Month title.
As their impressive start to 2025–26 continued, the Eagles recorded two league victories and a draw throughout the month.
After drawing with high-flying Sunderland to open the month, Palace defeated London rivals West Ham and Liverpool on the road. Glasner was also nominated for the prize in February 2025, but this is his first time winning it.
However, Palace’s unbeaten run came to an end when they suffered a defeat against Everton in October.
Martin Zubimendi wins Goal of the Month for September
The Premier League has chosen Martin Zubimendi’s outstanding strike against Nottingham Forest as their September Goal of the Month.
In the 32nd minute at the Emirates Stadium match versus Forest, Martin had his moment of brilliance. Martin was watching intently when Noni Madueke floated a corner into the box that Chris Wood was heading clear towards the boundary of the D.
Zubimendi watched it veer beyond Matz Sels’s reach and crash into the net after volleying it back towards goal with a flash of his right boot.
Donnarumma wins Save of the Month for September
Gianluigi Donnarumma’s incredible diving save against Manchester United won the September Coca-Cola Save of the Month award in the Premier League.
In the second half of City’s decisive Manchester derby triumph, the Italian goalie made a fantastic reach to deny Bryan Mbeumo, earning him the accolade in his debut month in the division.
