Fulham squad were asked to name their greatest ever player to feature in the English top division!

Before their training session, many Fulham players were asked for their opinion on the greatest Premier League player of all time.

Many of them gave similar answers, naming Thierry Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo as being the Greatest Premier League Players of All Time. However, a few backed Kevin de Bruyne as the league’s greatest ever.

But the majority of them picked Ronaldo and Henry as the greatest Premier League players ever, and there’s no doubt that both were among the best players of their era in the English top-flight league.

Fulham players reveal the greatest Premier League player ever

Ronaldo arrived in the league as a young and relatively unknown player, dreaming of leaving a lasting imprint on the league. He was signed by Manchester United in 2003.

With big ambitions, the Portuguese star’s United career took off in a brilliant fashion as he spent six years at the club, where he won the Champions League and Premier League titles.

The highlight of his career came when he won the Ballon d’Or, which cemented his legacy in the league and established him as one of the best ever.

Meanwhile, Henry joined Arsenal from Juventus in 1999 and quickly established himself as the most feared striker. In North London, he solidified his position as one of the greatest centre-forwards in the league and led the club to an unbeaten streak as they secured the title.

He spent eight years at the club and etched his name in the annals of Arsenal, and by many was seen as one of the greatest Arsenal players to grace the game and play for the club.

It was a similar story for De Bruyne, who arrived from Wolfsburg with little fanfare, especially since many fans knew his unsuccessful spell at Chelsea.

His signing was seen as less optimistic. However, under Pep Guardiola, De Bruyne changed the trajectory of Manchester City and led them to unprecedented success.

Therefore, Fulham players mentioning their names isn’t surprising given the impact they had during their time in the Premier League, which only a few players have managed to do.
