The French side are one of the favourites to win the tournament.
Following an incredible season that culminated in a European title, Paris Saint-Germain will travel to the United States in June to play in the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup 202. PSG are ready to create an impression both on and off the field as the event ushers in a new era for international club football.
Paris Saint-Germain will compete in the most inclusive and wide club tournament ever, joining 32 of the best clubs in the world as France’s only representative.
The month-long competition, which will take place in 11 American locations, will reshape the definition of global champion.
The team that Luis Enrique called up to play in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States from June 14 to July 13 has been revealed by Paris Saint-Germain. Ousmane Dembélé is there, despite having a thigh injury while playing for the French team.
Gabriel Moscardo, a Brazilian midfielder who was on loan at Stade de Reims, has returned to the club and has been named in the squad as well. There are no significant absences from this group; thus, this is the only little surprise.
The French club are among the frontrunners to claim the title, following a remarkable campaign last season in which they secured a historic treble. Buoyed by their recent success, they will be aiming to capture their maiden FIFA Club World Cup crown this summer.
PSG, the current European champion, are placed alongside Atletico Madrid, Botafogo, and Seattle in Group B.
