PSG's Luis Campos reopens talks with Marcus Rashford's agent over potential move: Report

The England star has constantly been linked with a move to the French club.
In 2022, Marcus Rashford nearly joined Paris Saint-Germain. The French team is still hoping to sign him from Manchester United after PSG’s Football Advisor, Luis Campos, renewed contact with Rashford’s entourage.
Since Kylian Mbappe’s free departure to Real Madrid last summer, Rashford has been continuously linked with the Ligue 1 winners. He was even considered a strong contender to succeed the striker.
But even before then, PSG had been preparing for his arrival. Nearly three years prior, the England international had given the team the all-clear for the move.
As the Parc des Princes team explored prospects to replace Neymar in 2022, Rashford’s agency met with PSG at least three times, according to L’Equipe.
Former Brazil player Leonardo served as the club’s sporting director at the time. But it was revealed during the negotiations that he would be leaving, and Luis Campos quickly took his position. The agreement fell through soon after, according to the French outlet, and it was agent Pini Zahavi who became involved.
But now the same report claims that Luis Campos has again started contact with Marcus Rashford’s agent over a potential move in the summer window.
After a terrible stint at United, Rashford is now succeeding on loan at Aston Villa and has turned his fortunes around. On Wednesday, he will face his former suitors in the Champions League quarterfinals.
According to the article, Rashford and Paris Saint-Germain are still in communication, with a summer transfer being a possibility as coach Luis Enrique gets ready to acquire a new striker. This might end up being something of an audition for the 27-year-old.
When Rashford travels to the French capital for the first leg of the European match, he will be hoping to pick up on his current stats and add more goals to his current tally of three goals and four assists.
