PSG vs Arsenal: All-time head-to-head record

Both teams have faced each other four times in the UCL.
Both Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal have faced each other many times. Their meetings have come in the Champions League, where both share an unequal head-to-head record.
In fact, PSG lost all five of their first encounters, which was the most times they had ever faced a European team without winning. However, they ended that curse at the Emirates in the 2024–25 Champions League semifinals.
In that North London match, Paris Saint-Germain won 1-0 thanks to an early strike from Ousmane Dembele, exacting revenge for their 2-0 loss to Mikel Arteta’s team in the league phase.
The other match was won by Arsenal, who also thrashed the French champions 5-1 in a 2018 preseason game under former Paris head coach Unai Emery. Three additional matches have ended in a share of the spoils.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Arsenal’s last competitive meetings prior to the 2024–25 Champions League took place in the 2016–17 group stage. In that game, a 2-2 draw at the Emirates was decided by two own goals.
Arsenal may not have won every game, but their record against PSG has been positive. They have either returned with a draw or a win against them.
The Gunners will use that experience to overcome despite being 1-0 down against Paris Saint-Germain when they travel to the French capital for the second-leg game against them on Wednesday night.
