Preview: PSG vs Arsenal prediction, odds, where to watch, time | UEFA Champions League 2025-26 final

Defending champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to take on Premier League champions Arsenal in Budapest.

The UEFA Champions League, European football’s most prestigious competition, is set for the conclusion of another magnificent season. Defending Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) take on Premier League champions Arsenal.

The teams are squaring off in the Puskás Aréna, Hungary, with the match pushed back early for the first time to provide an enhanced viewing experience.

Paris Saint-Germain will be aiming to win their second consecutive title, to become only the second team since 1992 to achieve the feat. PSG have a great record against English teams this season, defeating Chelsea and Liverpool in the Round of 16 and Qaurter-Finals respectfully. PSG qualified for the finals after overcoming Bayern Munich, winning 6-5 on aggregate.

Arsenal, on the other hand, come into the matchup after establishing itself as one of the strongest defensive units in Europe. The English side finished the league phase at the top, with a perfect record. They then faced Bayer Leverkusen and Sporting CP before facing Atletico Madrid in the semi-final.

The Gunners overcame the Spanish outfit to win 2-1 on aggregate.

Top Three Key Battles in PSG vs Arsenal

One of the key battles will be between Nuno Mendes, considered by many as the best left-back in recent seasons and Bukayo Saka, Arsenal’s star player. Saka uses his speed and elite dribbling skills to get past defenders to create attacking opportunities. However, Nuno Mendes has the pace to match Saka.

He will look to prevent Saka from driving into the central space and providing a counter-attacking threat for PSG.

2. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia vs William Saliba

Kvaratskhelia plays as a dynamic forward, capable of dropping into central spaces or attacking directly with unpredictable dribbling. Saliba has maintained his stature as one of the key defensive talents in recent seasons.

With Saliba mainly focusing on attackers away from the goal, it would be a key challenge for Kvaratskhelia to attack in his usual patterns, limiting PSG’s ability to create opportunities.

1. Ousmane Dembélé vs Gabriel Magalhães

The battle between Gabriel and Dembele would be the key battle in the matchup. Gabriel, known for his prowess in set-pieces and elite defending, will have to stay on complete guard against Dembele, known for his pace and finishing ability. Gabriel will have to maintain his in-game awareness and calmness when coming up against someone like Dembele, who aims to utilise opponents’ errors.

Who are the defending champions of the Champions League?

Ligue 1 team Paris Saint-Germain.
