RB Salzburg FIFA Club World Cup 2025 squad: Maurits Kjaergaard & Stefan Lainer included

The Austrian club are in a tough group of the Club World Cup.
Thomas Letsch and his staff of coaches will have 28 RB Salzburg players travelling to the FIFA Club World Cup when they depart for the USA this Friday, June 13.
There are going to be 24 outfield players and four goalkeepers in all, including new players, players back from loan, and other returning favourites. The good news is that, in spite of his wrist injury, Alex Schlager is also part of the RB Salzburg team. It’s unclear if he will be healthy enough to participate.
RB Salzburg proudly wears the underdog moniker as they enter this international competition, despite having a wealth of excellent players. However, they appear to have been given a good hand with a somewhat controllable squad, which has fueled the hopes of a surprise run that might blow the football world away.
RB Salzburg, who are viewed as the dark horse coming from Europe, are preparing to travel across the Atlantic to compete for one of the biggest honours in club football.

However, they will face a daunting task in reaching the knockout stage as Group H consists of top teams such as Real Madrid, Al-Hilal and Pachuca that will pose a significant threat to their hopes of going further in the tournament.
