Real Madrid 'will appoint' Santiago Solari if Carlo Ancelotti is sacked

Los Blancos are having a poor season as per their standards under the Italian manager.
Carlo Ancelottiâs future at the club has been the subject of a lot of media discussion. Xabi Alonso has emerged as one of the leading contenders to succeed him in the summer.
But based on their success so far this season, Real Madrid may decide to hire a manager in the midst of the campaign as well, in which case they wonât be able to approach Alonso.
In light of this, a recent report by Alfredo Matilla has verified that Real Madrid have already found the best candidate to succeed Ancelotti in the middle of the season.
The individual in question is Santiago Solari, of course. The Argentine, who rejoined the team in 2022 as the football director, has previously filled in as an interim coach and might do so once more in the event that Ancelotti is fired.
Solari has previously been told about the position by Real Madrid. The Argentine isnât very excited about the position, but he knows that he has to do it to support the team.
Solari was informed about the temporary role by Real Madrid following the teamâs 3-1 loss to AC Milan. Even though the Argentine was placed on standby before the match against Osasuna, the team ultimately won handily.
When Real Madrid fired Julen Lopetegui as manager in 2018, Solari took over as interim manager. Solari was selected for the position because, as a former coach of both Real Madrid and RM Castilla, the 48-year-old has a thorough understanding of the teamâs operations.
Solari is the perfect go-to person because he also enjoys a great rapport with some of the mainstays of the Real Madrid locker room.
Los Blancos will face Leganes in their LaLiga match and will have an excellent chance to cut the gap between Barcelona who were held 2-2 by Celta de Vigo yesterday.
