The Frenchman will be available for the Copa del Rey final.

Real Madrid have a busy week ahead of them with a Copa del Rey final match against Barcelona on Saturday night. Before that, they face Getafe in a LaLiga match tomorrow. Before the domestic season ends, there are two more chances to win a trophy.

In addition to missing the 1-0 victory over Athletic Club due to suspension, Kylian Mbappe was reportedly injured against Arsenal. After completing his one-game suspension, will he play against Getafe?

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that Mbappe will miss the game against Getafe. However, he will be available for the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona.

Ancelotti: “I think Mbappé and Mendy will be ready for the final against Barça, they will not be available tomorrow.”

“He’s hurting from the injury because he can’t help the team. He’s doing everything he can to be ready on Saturday.”

Despite his suspension, Kylian Mbappe would not have been able to play in the Athletic match because of an ankle sprain he sustained against Arsenal.

However, Ancelotti would not take any risk with the former Paris Saint-Germain player and has chosen to rest the Frenchman prior to such a crucial game in the Copa del Rey final. He might join the squad, but would only be used when called upon.

The Frenchman has failed to score in each of his last five games, which have coincided with Real Madrid’s bad form. To win his first trophy with Los Blancos, Mbappe will be looking to bounce back in the final on Saturday. He will hope to lead the LaLiga giants to a win against arch rivals Barca.

When Mbappe exited the field against Arsenal and again on Sunday when he appeared on the Santiago Bernabeu’s large screen, he was whistled.

Fans were frustrated with his performance against the Gunners. However, the 26-year-old will hope to win over supporters on Saturday by leading Madrid to the Copa del Rey trophy.
