Los Blancos lead the LaLiga table with 31 points.
Real Madrid announced on Monday that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and midfielder Federico Valverde are being examined for muscular problems.
The LaLiga team announced that Thibaut Courtois has been diagnosed with an injury to the adductor longus muscle in his right leg, following tests conducted by the medical services.
Meanwhile, in Sunday’s 0-0 draw between Madrid and Rayo Vallecano in the Spanish league, Valverde sustained a leg injury and was substituted by Trent Alexander-Arnold in the 83rd minute.
Madrid hit with double injury blow

Madrid did not clarify whether Valverde’s injury would prevent him from participating in Uruguay’s next matches against Mexico and the United States.
Despite finishing the Sunday contest, Thibaut Courtois was not unharmed. According to AS, Madrid’s legendary goalie, whose eight saves against Liverpool alone prevented his team from being humiliated, sustained a “slight strain” in his right thigh.
Although the severity of this muscular problem has been downplayed, it remains unclear when the 33-year-old will return.
Madrid won’t play again until Sunday, November 23, when they visit the home stadium of an intriguing Elche team. Although both Valverde and Courtois have been called up by their respective national teams for this month’s schedule of games, recent injuries could see them excluded from their squads. Moreover, Madrid would want their star players to return to full fitness in their next league match.
The club have fared poorly this season despite being on top of the league and three points ahead of the second-place Barcelona. Now, this duo’s recent injury setback is another blow for them. They are struggling to have fit players after summer signing Trent Alexander-Arnold recently returned from an injury.
Which injury has Courtois suffered?
He has suffered a muscle injury.
Which injury has Valvered suffered?
Valverde suffered a semimembranosus muscle injury in his leg.
When will the Belgium international goalkeeper return?
The club have not confirmed when he will return.
