Trent, Camavinga, Alaba & more - Real Madrid injury update following 3-0 win over Athletic Club

Los Blancos are once again hit with an injury blow.
Real Madrid defeated Athletic Club 3-0 on Wednesday night to earn all three points on their trip to San Mames. The outcome put an end to their three-game drawing streak in LaLiga. They are now just one point behind league leaders FC Barcelona.
However, it all came at a price: Trent Alexander-Arnold, the team’s lone healthy natural right-back, was hurt.
As reported by Jose Luis Sanchez of El Chiringuito TV, the Real Madrid team is now worried that Trent would miss the remainder of 2025 due to injury.
Kylian Mbappe’s goal in the first period was assisted by Trent, who started the game at right-back. However, a thigh injury forced the summer acquisition to be substituted in the 55th minute.
There is worry and pessimism regarding England international’s condition, even though testing will be conducted later today to ascertain the type and extent of the damage.
After a sluggish start due to injury, Trent was just beginning to develop into his role at Real Madrid. So this is a significant setback.
Due to a hamstring injury, the right-back had been out for six games this season. He has appeared in eleven games thus far in 2025–2026, recording just one assist.
Other Real Madrid injury update
Eduardo Camavinga was replaced by Arda Guler in the game, sparking concern over his injury. However, it is yet to be confirmed if the French midfielder has sustained a serious injury.
Dean Huijsen did not participate against Olympiacos in the UEFA Champions League, and, Girona and Athletic Club in LaLiga owing to a muscular ailment.
Due to a muscular issue, David Alaba was not included in the squad against Elche, Olympiacos, and Girona. The seasoned defender was also missing for the most recent game. Ferland Mendy may miss the rest of 2025 due to a diagnosis of another muscular issue.

His return remains unknown.
