Los Blancos are planning future move for former Manchester City star.
Real Madrid are interested in Cole Palmer as a long-term investment. But Chelsea would not be prepared to bargain for anything less than a “substantial” amount of money.
At every stage of his Blues career, Palmer has seemingly made his mark on Premier League history. With 37 goal involvements in a calendar year, he most recently shattered the club record.
In just 48 games, he has also contributed to 50 Premier League goals for Chelsea. Palmer, 22, is now the third-highest scorer in the division and is unquestionably among the top players in the league.
If Real Madrid are on their way to sign him, then Palmer may not be playing in the Premier League for much longer, though.
Fichajes claims that the LaLiga powerhouses are targeting him as a “long-term investment.” Their article’s title utilizes the phrase “BOMBSHELL,” and if Palmer were to quit the Premier League for them so quickly, it most definitely would be.
However, Chelsea are expected to resist since they are reportedly unwilling to settle for anything less than a “substantial” amount of money.
After becoming possibly the best player in the Premier League in just a year and a half with the Blues, Palmer is nearly expected to fetch far over £100 million if he decides to leave the club.
Palmer appears to be the ideal Real Madrid player since he can play defence-splitting passes from his own half, can hold tight control of a football within the opposition box, has scored his share of outrageous goals, and has the audacity to chip the goalkeeper from penalties.
Los Blancos are renowned for having some of the world’s finest and most talented players, and Palmer is exactly just that.
Since he had no trouble adjusting to regular Premier League play or the great stage of the Euros with England, where he contributed to goals in the semi-final and final, there is no question that he would flourish at Real.
