The Adidas design updates a timeless concept by fusing striking colour schemes with significant details that relate to the team’s past. The jersey is one of the most vivid jerseys in recent memory because of its striking, rich azure blue colour.

Adidas has also incorporated gentle diagonal lines throughout the cloth, which gives it a fashionable, textured appearance.

Madrid’s new third kit set to have a famous phrase

This outfit has more significance than just its appearance. A particular phrase within the collar in Spanish translates to, “90 minutes in the Bernabéu are very long.”

Real Madrid great Juanito made this statement in 1985 following a hard 0–2 loss to Inter Milan in the UEFA Cup semi-final at San Siro.

Since then, the saying has come to symbolise the team and is frequently recited whenever Real Madrid make a spectacular comeback. Clubs such as Manchester City, PSG, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea have seen this first-hand in the recent past.

The club will now proudly exhibit these words in remembrance of Juanito and the unwavering spirit that characterises Los Blancos.
