Ronald Araujo in talks with Bayern Munich over potential move: Report

Araujo’s contract is set to expire in 2026
Journalist Lluis Canut disclosed that agents of Ronald Araujo are now negotiating with Bayern Munich in a discussion with TV3.
Since it was his mistake that caused the reversal in Barcelona’s 1-4 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal, the defender has been singled out for blame.
Since then, a lot has been said, including remarks made by Ilkay Gundogan regarding what Araujo ought to have done rather than what he did. According to reports, this led to a minor rift, but as was said yesterday, the German midfielder and his Barcelona colleagues are getting along just fine.
Barcelona were, as of right now, in a condition of chaos. They are aware that the Uruguayan is unique, but they also understand that he has significant financial potential.
Though they are hesitant to let him go, President Joan Laporta might make an exception if an offer is greater than €80 million. The player himself would rather continue in spite of this.

Araujo has stated again that he wants to stay with the team, and his representatives have been in talks with Barcelona for weeks in an attempt to extend and strengthen the terms of his agreement, but they have yet to come to an understanding.
Although Araujo still has a contract that expires in 2026, his pay is now regarded as out of date because he is a vital starter.
This may be one of the explanations for why his delegates are allegedly in communication with the German team. However, it could also be a strategy used by most agents to obtain the best available offer.
The club is currently looking at ways to raise his pay appropriately, and although Araujo’s desire might result in a final agreement, his representatives are not happy with the state of affairs as it stands.
In addition, the defender has received offers from other teams, most of which include salaries significantly higher than those that Barcelona has proposed, which accounts for the disagreement between the two.
