The Brazilian legend picks a former AC Milan defender as the toughest.

The two-time FIFA World Cup and two-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo Nazario is recognised as one of the top players to ever play football. He is also considered one of the top strikers of his era.

He played for some top clubs during his career, such as Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona and others. Ronaldo was also a crucial part of the Brazil national football team. He won the 1997 and 2002 World Cups with the national team. Although he did not play any matches during the 1997 edition, he was a part of the squad.

The legendary forward scored a brace for Brazil, helping them clinch the 2002 FIFA World Cup title. It is also regarded as one of the best performances in a World Cup final.

Ronaldo Nazario’s calm and composed attitude, along with dazzling footwork, helped him achieve the top levels of the game. He retired in 2011 after recurring cases of frequent injuries. The Brazilian legend is still a part of the game, although from afar.
