Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu set to host 2030 FIFA World Cup final

Morocco, Spain and Portugal will host the 2030 edition of the FIFA World Cup
The 2030 FIFA World Cup final will take place at Santiago Bernabéu, as reported by journalist José Félix Díaz of Marca. The inferences made from multiple recent discussions suggest that the FIFA-desired location of the final will be Real Madrid’s stadium.
FIFA hopes to have the final at the Bernabeu despite some obstacles. Morocco, Portugal, and Spain will jointly host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
It’s interesting to note that Real Madrid may have difficulties due to the stadium’s three-month dedication requirement. On the other hand, the arrangement should be made easier by FIFA and Real Madrid’s close relationship.
Real Madrid are currently reluctant to give up their stadium for a long time because of the substantial financial ramifications.
Although the club understands the prestige of hosting a World Cup final, reaching an amicable agreement requires negotiating. FIFA and Real Madrid are still in talks, but a lot of technicalities, including money transfers, need to be worked out.
Nevertheless, since the 2026 World Cup final calendar was only made public less than a year ago, there is still plenty of time to come to an agreement.
Real Madrid and FIFA are trying to figure out how to use the stadium during the World Cup without interfering with the team’s regular operations.
Everyone is hopeful that a deal will be completed, and the Bernabeu will be the focal point of the event if the FIFA Congress approves the 2030 World Cup in December.
The close bond between FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Real Madrid President Florentino Perez lends even more momentum to this occasion.
All things considered, despite the obstacles still present, the cooperative nature and regard for one another between FIFA and Real Madrid inspire optimism that the Bernabeu will play home to the 2030 World Cup final, writing another chapter in its legendary past.
