The Frenchman is currently enjoying impressive form this season.

Under Luis Enrique, Ousmane Dembele is having the best season of his career at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). This season, he has emerged as one of Europe’s biggest talents with 20 goals and five assists in Ligue 1. He also has six goals in the Champions League and 30 goals across all competitions.

His future at PSG is unclear, though. El Nacional says that sources close to the athlete say he may be enticed to transfer this summer by a hefty offer from the Saudi Pro League, which is reportedly worth €100 million each season and hard to refuse.

Over the past years, Saudi clubs have tempted big stars from European clubs to join them with hefty salaries and it won’t be surprising if the Frenchman accepts their offer.

However, given his current form, Dembele would be eager to continue playing more years at PSG as he has become their most instrumental player this term, scoring goals left and right.

Dembele has been a vital component of Luis Enrique’s attacking scheme since joining PSG, demonstrating notable progress in consistency and decision-making. Even though PSG think highly of him, Saudi clubs’ financial might could make a difference.

Saudi clubs have been trying to prise many players away from Europe, as Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe are the other notable names, who the Middle Eastern clubs are keen on signing.

However, it will certainly be challenging for them to bring those top stars given they want to continue at their respective clubs and make a name for themselves.

Meanwhile, Dembele, who is enjoying brilliant form will hope to put on more such displays until the end of the season and hopefully lead PSG to their maiden Champions League trophy.

Dembele, 27, must decide whether to accept a contract that might change his life or focus on his career in Europe. If he departs, Luis Enrique’s project would suffer greatly and PSG might have to find a replacement.
