Los Blancos have set €1b as the Brazilian’s release clause.

According to reports, Saudi Pro League executives are preparing a record-breaking €300 million transfer offer for Vinicius Junior, which would give the Brazilian a €1 billion deal.

The forward for Brazil is presently a member of Real Madrid, where he has seen success in both LaLiga and the Champions League. Despite being 24 years old, he has emerged as a candidate for the Ballon d’Or.

However, Vinicius is being considered for a move by Middle Eastern clubs that would bring him to Saudi to join Los Blancos greats Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Omar Mugharbel, the CEO of Saudi Arabia, informed AS of the country’s hiring intentions for 2025: “We anticipate some intriguing signings in the summer. So we’ll wait and see what happens with that.”

According to the same news source, Vinicius is their main priority. Any attempt to sign the South American superstar would make transfer history because the amount paid for Neymar’s 2017 €222 million (£186 million/$232 million) transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain will be broken.

Teams like Al-Hilal, who are prepared to replace Neymar after his contract is set to be terminated, and Al-Ahli are reportedly willing to spend €300 million (£251 million/$313 million) on Vinicius. Additionally, a lucrative contract of €1 billion (£838 million/$1 billion) over five years will be awarded to him.

Real, though, have no interest in allowing the Brazilian to leave. They have a €1bn release clause in his present contract and are apparently keen to negotiate fresh terms. The new contract at Santiago Bernabeu if negotiated is supposed to run until 2027 and will be extended on an enhanced pay.

Meanwhile, head coach Carlo Ancelotti told reporters: “As far as I’m aware, and I have direct information from the player, he’s very happy here and he wants to make history at Real Madrid. He’s like everyone who works here, we all think the same way — we’re happy here and want to make history.”
