The Lions of Teranga have confirmed their World Cup roster.
Pape Thiaw, the manager of Senegal, has revealed his 26-man FIFA World Cup 2026 team. Senegal will enter this summer’s FIFA World Cup with a great deal of hope. They will look to improve upon their round of 16 loss to England in Qatar in 2022 after winning the CAF Africa Cup of Nations on the field before having their title revoked a few months later.

This time around, Sadio Mane, a former forward for Bayern Munich and Liverpool, is once again the main attraction for the Lions of Teranga, along with mainstays like goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
But in terms of skill, Mane is not the only good player in the final third. Ismaila Sarr of Crystal Palace, who has been outstanding this season, is joined by players like Iliman Ndiaye and Assane Diao, as well as Nicolas Jackson of Bayern Munich.
Idrissa Gueye of Everton is a member of a potent midfield that also includes Lamine Camara, Pape Gueye, Habib Diarra of Sunderland, Pape Matar Sarr of Tottenham Hotspur, and Pathe Ciss of Rayo Vallecano.
After an outstanding Premier League first season for West Ham United, El Hadji Malick Diouf will fight Ismail Jakobs for the left-back position. Jakobs’ former AS Monaco teammate Krepin Diatta is expected to start at right-back for the Senegalese once more.
