Serbia vs Spain Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast | UEFA Nations League 2024-25
La Roja start their title defence away from home.
Serbia will be aiming to move forward with a positive mindset in this competition after a series of poor performances. We have seen them fail to progress from the group stage. Nevertheless, Dragan Stojkovic’s side will be hoping to start from scratch with a home match against the defending champions.
Serbia are drawn in Group D alongside Spain, Denmark and Switzerland. They will face La Roja and the Danes in the first two matches.
Spain are currently the best team in Europe after proving their credentials in back-to-back tournaments. They recently won the UEFA Euro 2024 this summer after defeating England in the final to claim the prestigious trophy. La Roja are also the defending champions of the UEFA Nations League competition after winning the last edition against Croatia in the finals.
Luis de la Fuente’s team will start their title defence against the Serbians. It will be followed by another tricky away trip against the Swiss on match day two.

Players to Watch
Aleksandar Mitrovic (Serbia)
The Al-Hilal forward has started the new season in brilliant form after netting seven goals from the opening four matches of the season. Mitrovic remains the danger man for Serbia as he can clutch situations anytime with his aerial presence and the threat he brings from inside the box. He is a physical striker who likes to win duels and attacks the space brilliantly. He will be aiming to score here and help the team register a win against Spain.
Lamine Yamal (Spain)
The Barcelona sensation has already created history by becoming the youngest goal scorer for La Roja this summer. Lamine Yamal was one of the reasons why Spain went on to lift the Euro trophy. Yamal played a starring role for them in the final.
He provided four assists for the team in the competition and also scored a wonderful goal against France to win the game. His ability to create chances using his speed and trickery makes him a vital asset for the team going forward.
