The Croatian player will leave the club after the Club World Cup.
Luka Modric, one of the most well-known midfielders in the sport, may be moving to Italy following a lengthy and fruitful career at Real Madrid. The Milan-based team Inter Milan are apparently quite interested in the 39-year-old veteran player, whose contract with the Spanish “royal club” expires on June 30. The well-known sports publication Fichajes reported on this.
The “Nerazzurri” are known to have the chance to sign Modrić as a free agent. The Inter team has a tremendous opportunity because it’s not often that players with Modric’s level of experience and skill become free agents.
Luka Modric has been a key player at Real Madrid since 2012 and has had many accomplishments. Six Champions League titles, four LaLiga titles, and several national and international competitions have been won by the Croatian midfielder with the “royal club.” He was also named the world’s finest football player as he won the Ballon d’Or in 2018.
Modrić once again displayed his consistency and high level of play in the current season. He made 35 appearances in LaLiga, with two goals and six assists. His squad won crucial games thanks in large part to his technical skill and leadership on the field.
In Serie A, Luka Modrić may now start a new phase of his career. In addition to bolstering the midfield, his arrival at Inter would increase the team’s competitiveness in the European arena.
According to many, Inter might profit greatly from Modrić’s expertise in both the domestic league and the Champions League. The player still has a few good years left in him to deliver at the top level, be it off the bench or from a starting role.
This move is another chance for the Croatian midfielder to make an impression. His self-assured play and excellent technique, in particular, might rapidly win over Inter’s supporters.
Football fans are quite interested in this possible transfer and are looking forward to hearing more about Modrić’s future.
