The time for Spain’s opening clash of the FIFA World Cup 2026 has finally come. La Roja are ready to lock horns against World Cup debutants Cape Verde in the first match of Group H. Apart from these two sides, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay are also present in Group H.
The match will be played at the Atlanta Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Interestingly, the match is the first match to be played at the venue.
Currently on a ten-match unbeaten streak, La Roja would look forward to extending their run by one more match. Meanwhile, Cape Verde would be keen to score their first goal or secure their first-ever draw or victory in the summer competition.
