The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup continues to produce impressive matchups between top nations from around the world. This year, the flagship tournament is taking place in Mexico, Canada and the USA.
In every other edition of the World Cup, players are looking to give their all for their countries to come up with their best performances. Only a few of them manage to shine on the grandest stage of them all.
The Spanish national football team is one such national team that has produced some amazing talents over the years. They are one of the favourites alongside France and England to win the prestigious title this year. La Roja have only been able to secure the World Cup crown once and that too after their triumph in 2010. They will now be looking to do it once again. After starting their campaign against Cape Verde with a draw, Spain secured a dominant win against Saudi Arabia.
Talking about the generational talent, Lamine Yamal has become one of the youngest players (18y 343d) to score a goal for his national team at the FIFA World Cup.
