Ronaldo’s current Al-Nassr contract lasts until 2027.

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to play in the Premier League for a year. Meanwhile, Sporting CP are prepared to welcome him back and aid him in reaching the 1,000-goal milestone.

Al-Nassr’s management is reportedly looking for ways to offload Cristiano Ronaldo due to his recent situation and high salary, which is a heavy burden on the team’s finances, according to the reports.

According to reports, Sporting CP are aware of Ronaldo’s problems in Saudi Arabia and are prepared to make a contract offer to their academy product, allowing Cristiano Ronaldo to pursue his career objective of 1,000 goals.

But as the source makes clear, Cristiano Ronaldo himself has no immediate plans to rejoin his childhood team and instead wants to play in the English Premier League for another season.

Through the summer of 2027, Ronaldo is bound by a deal in the Middle East, which is the most lucrative in all of football. Despite reportedly making about £500,000 each day, he has still found reasons to be unhappy.

The frontman, who has won domestic titles in England, Spain, and Italy, is angry at how the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) distributes transfer funds and believes others are being given preference in that area.

He was on strike, missing three games at Al-Nassr. He is back in training and should be called up for their upcoming match. However, as Ronaldo is ready to attend the sixth FIFA World Cup of his record-breaking career, questions are being raised about what will happen in the summer.

He has a €50 million (£43 million/$59 million) release clause in his lucrative contract in Riyadh. Moreover, some have indicated that if a push for his departure were made, he might be sold.

How much does Ronaldo make at Al-Nassr?

He makes £4.7m a week.

When is his contract expiring?

It will expire in 2027.

Will Ronaldo join Sporting?

His priority is to return to the Premier League for a year.
