Sunderland vs West Brom Prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds

Six points separate both sides on the points table.
The EFL Championship is all thrills and drama right now. Now, in a match week 17 clash we have got our hands full with the top-seated Sunderland, who can afford to lose with the pack chasing, versus the 6th-placed West Brom, who are on in the pack chasing the Black Cats.
Surprisingly enough, the difference between the 1st and the 6th (the last qualification spot) is only six points. It is anybody’s guess which of the two will get automatic qualifications, and which of the four below them vie for a vacant spot. But one thing’s clear: it starts with this match as Sunderland and West Brom have high stakes on the line.
Kick-off
Tuesday, November 26, 8 PM UK
Wednesday, November 27, 1:30 AM IST
Location: Stadium of Light
Form:
Sunderland (in the Championship): W-D-D-D-D
West Brom (in the Championship): D-D-D-W-D
Players to Watch
Wilson Isidor (Sunderland)
Never fall in love with a loanee, they say, and Wilson Isidor might just be another for Sunderland. The French international is on loan from Zenit and has led the attack in a typical fashion. Though, he has not yet hit that blistering goalscoring form—scored five goals so far—there’s more than half of the season left for him to find the back of the net.
Josh Maja (West Brom)
Every year in the Championship, there’s this spark that catches everyone’s attention far and wide. Josh Maja is this season’s spark. The Londoner is smoking the pitch with a goalscoring form akin to the Mitrovic Championship run.
But there’s more to it than just 10 goals in 16 games. His off-the-ball runs, dragging defences away, have made him a hot topic. Keep an eye on this one.

Injury and Team News
The hosts will be without several key players, including Aaron Connolly, who remains sidelined with a knock, and Ahmed Abdullahi, Ian Poveda, and Salis Abdul Samed, all expected back in early December. Jenson Seelt and Niall Huggins face longer recoveries, with returns slated for mid-December and mid-January, respectively.
West Brom also have their share of absentees. Darnell Furlong is suspended, while Daryl Dike (Achilles), Kyle Bartley (knee), Patrick McNair (hamstring), and Semi Ajayi (leg) are out until early to mid-December, leaving the squad stretched for their trip to Sunderland.
