AC Milan star Theo Hernandez reaches verbal agreement to join Bayern Munich: Report
Bayern Munich are in search for a left-back
According to reports originating from Spain on Monday, Theo Hernandez has verbally approved an offer made by the Bavarian giants and could be open to moving in the summer if the two clubs were able to come to an agreement.
Theo Hernandez is going to meet with Milan before the summer transfer window to talk about the club’s project and his future, amid speculations of an approach from Bayern Munich.
These statements were refuted by Italian reports, which stated that Theo Hernandez was content with Milan and was just waiting to sign a new long-term contract. Given that his current contract ends in June 2026, he is in a unique situation prior to the transfer window.
Theo Hernandez, conscious that the cycle is coming to an end, will meet with Milan at the end of the current campaign to talk about the project at the club and prospects for the future, according to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com.
Bayern Munich have expressed a genuine interest in the 26-year-old Frenchman, but there has been no official announcement of a bid as of yet. The Rossoneri are fighting desperately not to let the new season begin without finding a solution to his contract dispute.

He would come to take the position of Alphonso Davies, whose contract with the Bavarians expires after one season and he has chosen not to renew it. Real Madrid, who are in a better position to negotiate, has chosen to sign the Canadian, but they are unwilling to spend more than €50 million.
Carlo Ancelotti might think about releasing Ferland Mendy, who is drawing interest from teams in the Premier League, Serie A, and Ligue 1 (PSG above all) if Davies were to transfer to the Santiago Bernabéu.
With 43 games played this season, Theo has five goals and ten assists for Milan, drawing interest from teams like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia. But Bayern is what the former Real Madrid player wants, and that’s his top goal.
