The Arsenal forward shone in England’s 3-0 win over Wales.

After his goal in England’s resounding 3-0 victory over Wales at Wembley Stadium, Roy Keane showered Arsenal wonder Bukayo Saka with accolades.

However, the Three Lions manager Thomas Tuchel has made even higher demands of the gifted winger. With the game all but decided in the first twenty minutes, Saka and his England teammates easily won in the home capital.

By the eleventh minute, Morgan Rogers and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa had the home team comfortably in control. Rogers’ methodical effort broke the impasse, and Watkins’ poacher’s intuition made it 2-0.

However, Bukayo Saka’s characteristic move of cutting inside and bending the ball past Leeds United and Welsh goalkeeper Karl Darlow in the 20th minute was the highlight of the game.

Roy Keane praises Saka’s performance against Wales

At halftime, former Manchester United captain Keane praised the Gunners star for his outstanding performance.

Speaking during the interval, Keane told ITV Sport: “We’ve seen him doing this many times. Fantastic. Poor from Wales, giving Saka time like this. The quality gets his [the defender’s] foot wrong with the pace.”

“As soon as it left his foot, you know, it’s going to the back of the net. We see brilliant players like Saka coming in, you’ve got to get somebody across.”

Thomas Tuchel backs Bukayo Saka to score more goals for England

“How many goals did he score for England?,” Tuchel queried. “13? One three? It has to be more, it’s not enough.”

“He needs to keep on going. I thought it was 30, at least, and then I would have said it’s not enough, because I am never satisfied.”

“He is such a threat for Arsenal in the most difficult league in the world, so why would he not be at international level? We have the position for him, he has the attitude, the stamina, the talent, everything to be a top player at international level, and that’s what he has to show.”
