Tom Cruise to join David Beckham's 'Beckham & Friends Live' during PSG vs Inter Milan UCL final

Hollywood actor Cruise has been a big fan of football.
A unique broadcast from this weekend’s UEFA Champions League final will feature Tom Cruise and his close buddy David Beckham.
On Wednesday, Paramount revealed that Cruise would be Beckham’s guest on Beckham & Friends Live during Saturday’s Paris Saint-Germain vs. Inter Milan final match. The alternate broadcast, which included Beckham and was hosted by Kate Scott of CBS Sports, made its premiere on May 6 and 7 during the Champions League semifinals.
In the first two versions of the event, actors Stanley Tucci and Joseph Fiennes, comedian James Corden, French soccer legend Thierry Henry, and director Guy Ritchie were among the guests. Other, yet-to-be-announced, celebrities will join David Beckham, Scott, and Cruise this weekend.
Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan will kick off with their final on Saturday in Munich. CBS will air the match live, and Paramount+, where you can catch Cruise and Beckham’s altcast, will be streaming it as well.
Having starred in the most recent instalment of the action series franchise, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Cruise has been acquainted with David Beckham for about twenty years.
Cruise hosted a star-studded welcoming party for Beckham and his family in 2007. It was the year the English soccer star signed a record-breaking contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy team of Major League Soccer.
The Top Gun Maverick star was joined by his reported girlfriend, actress Ana de Armas, for David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration at London’s Core restaurant earlier this month.
However, Cruise was already familiar with soccer before Beckham came to the United States. In a 2012 interview with Sky Sports, the actor claimed to have been a soccer fan “since the ’80s” and to have attended a number of matches.
In addition to attending the Olympic women’s soccer gold medal match in Paris last year, where the U.S. women’s national team defeated Brazil to capture their fifth gold medal, he was present at the Etihad Stadium for Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Manchester City in December 2012.
Additionally, this Saturday’s game won’t be his first Champions League appearance. In December 2009, Cruise was seen at Sevilla’s 1-0 victory over Rangers in the Champions League group stage.
