Toni Kroos establishes grassroots football club in Madrid
Kroos decided to retire from football last season.
Former Real Madrid maestro Toni Kroos has established his own grassroots football club in Madrid. He has even named it, guess what? Toni Kroos. He has collaborated with the Royal Football Federation of Madrid and Club Las Encinas Boadilla for this project.
It’s been months since the midfielder decided to retire from football. This move shocked fans worldwide given he still had many years left in him to play at the top level. Despite his retirement, the player remains connected with football.
Now he has created his own grassroots football club in Madrid. Before embarking on the project the player spoke to the Royal Madrid Football Federation and the Encinas de Boadilla Club, who gave their approval.
His grassroots-level football project will mainly feature those children who want to build their careers in the sport. This is an excellent approach by the former player who wants to provide a chance for those children to become football stars in future.
Kroos is a big name who has achieved everything in his football career, be it at the national or club level. He now has ambitions to establish grassroots-level football, indicating that he wants to remain connected to the sport.
A former midfielder maestro like him can certainly return to football as a manager or a member of any club’s board. He will certainly not be short of offers if he feels like starting his career in managing a football club.
But at the moment he is keeping himself focused on his new project and scouting players to grow his project for the future. Kroos emerged as a young talented star from Bayern Munich before joining Real Madrid. It was in Madrid that he announced himself to the world.
He became the most underrated player. The ‘German Sniper’ was famous for his passing range and ability to find players with his precise distribution skills. Those children who will be part of his project will hope to learn a lot under his guidance.
Kroos will hope to build a big grassroots-level football project. It will hopefully attract more children to pursue a career in football.
