UEFA Nations League: List of all winners

The UEFA Nations League 2024-25 edition is going on at full pace, and the defending champions, Spain, are still in the race to defend their title. This is one of the latest ongoing international tournaments in European football. The ongoing edition of the Nations League is the fourth. It might see a new team winning the title here. The tournament is in its most interesting phase as of now.

The Portugal national football team became the first-ever winners of the UEFA Nations League when Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. defeated the Netherlands during the 2018-19 season. It was a big feat for Portugal as they grabbed their second International trophy. This tournament was brought in to give more competitive games to the European teams.

Later on, during the 2020-21 season, the France national football team went on to win the UEFA Nations League title. It was the second edition of the tournament in which they defeated the Spain national football team in the finals of the competition. The Spaniards are the defending champions who defeated Luka Mordic’s Croatia on penalties to lift the title in the 2022-23 edition. It was an overall great performance by Spain during that campaign.

Spain still have a chance to defend their title, but it is not going to be an easy task as they are set to face Kylian Mbappe and the France national football team in the semifinals of the current edition. The other semi-final will see Portugal taking on Germany. It is going to be some high-voltage semifinals as all teams are looking in good touch. Players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lamine Yamal, Kylian Mbappe and others will be seen in action.
