UEFA Women's Euro: List of all winners

Germanyâs womenâs team boast the most Euro trophies.
The primary tournament in womenâs association football between national teams of the UEFA confederation is the UEFA European Womenâs Championship, usually known as the UEFA Womenâs Euro. It is held every four years, and one year after the menâs UEFA European Championship. It was first held in 1984.
The tournament is the UEFA European Championshipâs counterpart. England, who claimed the trophy in 2025, are the current champions. With eight titles, Germany are the most dominant country in the tournamentâs history.
England won the 2022 UEFA Womenâs Euro after defeating Germany. The victory was Englandâs womenâs first big competition win. Today, July 27, the 2025 final saw them retain the title.
Since Germanyâs six continuos wins at the Euros, there have only been three events, in 2017, 2022 (being postponed from 2021 because of the COVID-19 epidemic) and 2025. The Netherlands and England, the hosts, respectively, won the first two. In 2025, which was held in Switzerland, England retained their crown after the game went to penalties (3-1).
It had been a long time coming for the latter. It appeared to be a question of when rather than if for the English, who had previously finished as runners-up twice and made the last four three times.
Only five nations have had their names inscribed on the trophy thus far, although 2025 presented Spain with a chance to be another name in the annals of history. With this, we take a look at the winners of the UEFA Womenâs Euro since its inception.
