Updated FIFA Club World Cup bracket after Chelsea outshine Fluminense to secure spot in final

The Brazilian giants have been knocked out of the tournament.

The current edition of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is taking place in the United States of America. This is the edition with the most number of clubs battling against each other for the mega prize. The tournament began with a total of 32 teams.

A masterclass by João Pedro and Chelsea have knocked Fluminense out of the mega competition. The Tricolor looked in good touch and many people were supporting the Brazil-based club to get through, but the Blues came up with a far better performance.

The English Premier League side, who also won the UEFA Conference League during their 2024-25 campaign and have now sealed their berth in the final of the tournament. The Blues have won the Club World Cup once before and they will be keen on winning the mega competition for the second time.

It is still unclear that, who will become the second club to qualify for the final. PSG are taking on Real Madrid in the other semifinal fixture. Paris Saint-Germain have been excellent recently and will be looking to add another trophy after winning the treble during their 2024-25 campaign.

All of the clubs that are still in the FIFA Club World Cup title race are from Europe. The last time when a non-European team won the mega competition was in 2012 when the Brazilian side Corinthians lifted the trophy.
