USA's jersey numbers for FIFA World Cup 2026 revealed
The host nation has also confirmed their squad.
The final United States (USA) team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup has been announced by Mauricio Pochettino. The Americans welcome the world to a competition that will be held primarily on their territory.
After a last-16 elimination in 2022, the USA will have extremely high expectations as they strive for a lengthy run through the competition.
Originally split into 12 groups, 48 national teams will now compete in the 2026 World Cup. It will take place from June 11 to July 19.
In Group D, the United States will begin their World Cup campaign against Paraguay, followed by games against Australia and Turkey.
The roster is led by 13 players who were previously named to the 2022 FIFA World Cup roster: Christian Pulisic, Tim Ream, Weston McKennie, Brenden Aaronson, and Tyler Adams. In addition to a number of up-and-coming players, including Alex Zendejas, Sebastian Berhalter, Max Arfsten, Alex Freeman, and Chris Brady, who will compete for playing time this summer.
Since the United States will host most of the 2026 World Cup, the country hopes to create more of those kinds of memories for supporters this summer, this time in their own nation.
