Vinicius Jr nearing agreement on new Real Madrid contract: Report

The Brazilian star was also linked with a move to Saudi Pro League

Vinicius Jr is now on the verge of reaching an agreement with Real Madrid over a five-year deal, ending any speculations of joining a Saudi club.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the deal is nearly complete, but currently, clarifications are being confirmed on whether it would be effective until 2030 or 2029, with the possibility of extension.

The Brazilian forward’s current contract expires in 2027, but he seems eager to strengthen his ties with Los Blancos, despite links to Saudi Arabian teams who offer enormous salaries.

Other sources reveal that Real Madrid are anticipated to formally disclose the information at the end of the current campaign, ending any conjecture regarding the 24-year-old’s future.

Clubs in Saudi Arabia showed a great deal of interest in the forward, who will turn 25 in July.

In recent years, several European players have been reportedly enticed by the financially overwhelming offers on the table by Saudi teams. Vinicius, on the other hand, would rather keep playing at the top level in Europe and is not seduced by a move elsewhere.
