Wales squad for friendly against England & 2026 World Cup qualifier against Belgium; Aaron Ramesey back

The Dragons will face England in a friendly at Wembley.
Aaron Ramsey, the captain of Wales, has been picked up for the World Cup qualifying match against Belgium and the friendly match against England in October.
The 34-year-old midfielder, who has only made one substitute appearance in six months while he recovers from injury, was left out of the team for games against Kazakhstan and Canada in September.
However, Ramsey has since made three starts for his Mexican club, Pumas UNAM, and appeared in two matches as a substitute.
After missing the Kazakhstan and Canada games due to injury, Wales can now welcome back Leeds United’s Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon, Coventry City’s Jay Dasilva, and Wrexham’s Nathan Broadhead.
Leeds winger Dan James has been called up even though his club says he is “undergoing assessment” for an ankle injury.
A representative for Leeds stated: “Any absence is not expected to be long-term and Leeds United manager Daniel Farke will provide a full update during Thursday’s press conference.”
Wales will host Belgium in a World Cup qualifying match at Cardiff City Stadium on Monday after playing England in an exhibition match at Wembley on Thursday, October 9.
