[WATCH] Angry fan lashes at Al Ittihad striker Abderrazak Hamdallah after Saudi Super Cup loss

Al Hilal won 4-1 against Al Ittihad
It was another defeat for Al Ittihad at the hands of Al Hilal. The current Saudi Pro League leaders won the Saudi Super Cup 4-1 against Al Ittihad. This was their fifth loss to the same opponent in the 2023-24 season.
The match went well as both sets of players showed tremendous respect towards each other and played the match fairly. Players also showed a lot of discipline and the match only saw five bookings.
However, there was an incident that caught the eye of the world. After the match, there was a heated moment between Al Ittihad supporter and their Moroccan forward, Abderrazak Hamdallah.
After the match, these two were going at each other. The forward was drinking water and threw water at the supporter. In return, the supporter lashed at the player. Both persons were held back and the drama ended.
Al Hilal defeated Al Nassr to reach the final of the competition. Al Ittihad won their tie against Al Wehda.
Malcom scored the opening goal in the 5th minute to give his side the lead. Al Hilal dominated possession and Al Ittihad tried to break their defence with counter-attacks.

Abderrazak Hamdallah, who has been one of the prolific goalscorers in the league, won a penalty. He stepped up to take the penalty in the 21st minute. His countryman, Yassine Bounou saved the initial effort but was unable to stop the forward from scoring the goal after the deflected ball landed on his foot.
Salim Al Dawsari showed his magic and scored a wonderful goal right towards the end of the first half. Al Hilal led 2-1 at the end of the half.
The second half saw a tactical display from both sides. Al Hilal were not allowing the opposition to score a goal. Malcom broke the deadlock in the second half and scored his second of the night.
Nasser Aldawsari added to Al Ittihad’s misery and scored his side’s fourth of the night.
Things are not going in a positive direction for Al Ittihad. They are fourth in the league and are likely to miss the AFC Champions League.
