West Ham vs Tottenham Preview, prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds | Premier League 2025-26

Niclas Fullkrug will miss out against Spurs because of a calf injury.

West Ham will host Tottenham in their upcoming match in the 2025-26 Premier League. The Hammers will be high on confidence after their recent drubbing of Nottingham Forest (3-0) in their last match in the Premier League. The victory over “The Reds” helped them secure their first win in this year’s Premier League season after literally getting demolished by Sunderland (3-0) and Chelsea (5-1) in their first two games in this year’s campaign.

Graham Potter’s men had a shaky start to the season, but now it seems they are settling into the groove. Tottenham Hotspur, on the contrary, is in a much better place. They have won two of their three games in the league and are on six points. Unlike West Ham, however, who won their last match, Tottenham were on the receiving end of defeat against Bournemouth in their previous match.

West Ham might have struggled, but Lucas Paqueta has been their saving grace this season. The Brazilian has scored in three back-to-back matches, twice in the Premier League and once in the EFL Cup. The Rio de Janeiro-born player is in sublime form this season, and that will surely be reassuring for the West Ham fans.

Paqueta joined the club in 2022 and has so far made over 90 appearances for the East London club. His partnership with Callum Wilson and Jarrod Bowen can change the complexion of the game at any second.

Brennan Johnson (Tottenham Hotspur)

Just like Lucas Paqueta, Brennan Johnson has also scored goals in consecutive matches against Burnley and Manchester City. The 24-year-old Welsh international has already been touted as the next big star, and his performances surely tell you why.

A former player of Nottingham Forest, Johnson, also spent a year out on loan at Lincoln City. He has scored a total of 25 goals and made 18 assists for the north London club.
