The Red Devils have secured the EPL trophy 20 times.

Manchester United are one of the most successful clubs in football history. As far as the English football scenario and most importantly the English Premier League is concerned, the Red Devils have won the title 20 times. Only Liverpool have the same number of EPL titles as Man United.

The Red Devils’ most successful run came under Sir Alex Ferguson, as he went on to win 38 major trophies. During his 26-year run with Manchester United, the club went on to win 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cup trophies and two UEFA Champions League titles.

In the last few years, the world has seen a decline in the performance of the Red Devils. Even in the last season, they weren’t able to secure a Champions League spot for the next season. As per their current condition, Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United are in 14th place in the Premier League table with four matches left.

The Last time Manchester United clinched the Premier League title

Manchester United last won the English Premier League title during the 2012-13 season, which was under Sir Alex Ferguson. It was also the last season when the respected manager led the Red Devils. Since then, they have not won any more Premier League titles.

Names like Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Erik ten Hag and others stepped up to manage Manchester United, but none of them were able to clinch the Premier League trophy.

Talking about the recent scenario of the English football giants, the 2024-25 season saw Erik ten Hag get sacked and Ruben Amorim stepping up to lead the Red Devils. Man United will be looking to attain a respectable finish as the season is coming to a close. They still have a chance to win the UEFA Europa League as they are in the semi-final stage of the European competition.

Winning that competition will allow them to participate in the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League. The Red Devils are set to make some changes in the squad by hopefully doing some good transfers ahead of the upcoming season. That might see a change of flow in their form going further.
